This device requires a mobile signal to connect to our Care Team. In areas with no mobile signal, an alarm call cannot be made, two-way voice will not work, and your location cannot be identified — in the same way a mobile phone cannot make a call without signal. Our devices will operate on weaker signals, however a 4G connection is recommended for the fastest possible response.
If you have a pacemaker or other implanted cardiac device, keep the watch at least 15cm (6 inches) away from the device at all times. We recommend wearing the watch on the opposite wrist from your pacemaker — for example, on your right wrist if your pacemaker is on the left side. This follows international safety standards ISO 14117 and IEC 60601-1-2 covering electromagnetic compatibility for medical devices. Modern pacemakers are designed with strong shielding, but maintaining this distance ensures safe and comfortable use. If you have any concerns, please consult your GP or the manufacturer of your pacemaker before use.

Fall detection is highly accurate but may not detect all fall types (e.g. slow slides from a chair). It may occasionally trigger during vigorous activity. It offers an extra layer of protection, but wherever possible, the SOS button should be pressed to ensure help is requested.

The SOS button is pressed manually when the wearer wants help. Fall detection is automatic — the watch uses an accelerometer to detect sudden impacts and movement patterns consistent with a fall. This is crucial when a fall leaves someone dazed, injured, or unable to reach the button. Both features send GPS-tagged alerts to all nominated contacts.
Yes. The watch works independently and does not require the wearer to own or carry a smartphone. A family member needs a smartphone to install the companion app and manage settings, but the wearer simply wears the watch and presses the SOS button if needed. All other functions are automatic.
There is no range limit. Unlike Bluetooth trackers that only work within 10 to 30 metres, our watch uses GPS satellites and 4G mobile data to report its position from anywhere with mobile coverage. You can track the watch from across the city or from the other side of the country.
The watch charges using the included magnetic charging cable — simply place the watch on the charger and it snaps into place. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and lasts up to 72 hours with normal use. A low-battery alert is sent to nominated contacts when the charge drops below 20%.
