Does the pendant need a smartphone, Wi-Fi, or landline?
No. The pendant has a built-in 4G SIM and works independently anywhere in the UK. No smartphone, Wi-Fi, or landline is required.
What network does the device use?
The device uses multi-network roaming SIM technology, which automatically connects to the strongest available signal. No setup is required, there is no need to choose a network, and it works across multiple UK networks.
What happens when the SOS button is pressed in an emergency?
The user is connected immediately to our UK-based monitoring team. We speak directly through the device, assess the situation, and contact family or emergency services if required.
How quickly does someone answer?
99.6% of alarm calls are answered in under 60 seconds. Fast response is critical in emergencies such as falls.
Does it work outside the home?
Yes. The pendant works anywhere with a mobile signal — at home, in the garden, out walking, or shopping.
Can it be worn in the shower?
Yes. The device is water resistant (IPX7), so it can be worn in the shower. We do not recommend wearing it while bathing, swimming, or in chemically treated water such as chlorine or salt water.
How does fall detection work?
The device uses built-in sensors to detect sudden movement followed by a rapid stop, which can indicate a fall. Fall detection is a useful safety feature but cannot guarantee detection of every fall, so if the user is able to, they should always press the button manually in an emergency.
What if the user cannot speak?
If no response is heard, we treat the situation as an emergency, escalate immediately, and alert emergency contacts and services.
How long does the battery last?
The battery lasts several days depending on usage and settings. It is easily recharged using the included charging base.
Is it comfortable to wear all day?
Yes. The pendant is lightweight and designed for continuous wear.
What if the button is pressed accidentally?
Our team will speak through the device to check everything is OK. There are no penalties for accidental activations.
Is there a contract?
